Robyn Hudson is an assistant director of services for students with disabilities. Her main role is to supervise and provide academic coaching services for students with disabilities. Other responsibilities include reviewing documentation, providing accommodations, participating in outreach activities, overseeing electronic records, and serving as the supervisor for graduate student interns.
Robyn is a licensed clinical social worker in Virginia, and holds a Ph.D. in Education and a Certificate in Higher Education from Virginia Tech. She earned a master and bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Radford University. She has worked in numerous mental health positions, was the assistant coordinator in Radford University's Disability Office prior to coming to Virginia Tech, and has taught sociology at New River Community College. Professional affiliations include National and State Associations of Higher Education and Disability and the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators.
