Academic Relief/Suspension Appeal
If you are a student with either a learning disability, attention deficit disorder, or Asperger’s disorder and due to the impact of your disability, are seeking academic relief (request for course drops), please contact Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) at 540-231-3788 or firstname.lastname@example.org and make an appointment to discuss the academic relief process and obtain forms for submission. The SSD Academic Relief committee meets on the first Tuesday of each month.
If you are a student with a learning disability, attention deficit disorder, or Asperger's disorder and due to the impact of your disability are appealing an academic suspension, please refer to the Suspension Appeal Guidelines that outline the process and required forms. Completed requests must be received in the SSD office two full business days prior to the academic deans' meeting.
