Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) is here to help your student. We work to assist students with disabilities and problem-solve personal and environmental issue that may interfere with full access to academic and/or hinder academic performance.

Our services include:

• Standardized Testing
• Career Development

We help students find out what accommodations might aid in their success her at Virginia Tech. We help with this accommodations:

• Note-Taking Accommodations
• Alternate Text Accommodations
• SSD Testing Center
• Classroom Accommodations
• Deaf/Hard of Hearing
• Housing Accommodations
• Winter Session Accommodations

If your student needs accommodations, they need to fill out the accommodations letter. 

We also help students learn about physical access on campus and in town.
