RegisterBlast is Here!
RegisterBlast makes the entire process easier and more convenient for students!
Students schedule the days and times of their own exams, following the date and time windows set by their instructors.
Students can modify and cancel reservations as needed.
Students can access their exam reservation history.
Visit the Werth Testing Center webpage for instructional videos on how to schedule your exams.
Have questions? Drop by SSD at 310 Lavery Hall for office hours on Wednesdays from 9 am - 12 pm or join us via Zoom.
Flex Plan Module
Starting this semester SSD will roll out a new tool to assist instructors in implementing Attendance and Deadline Accommodation Plans for students.
What to Know:
Once finalized, students will receive a full copy of the finalized flex plan by email.
Reminders
Visit the AIM student hub to log in to AIM and request your accommodation letter!
Housing accommodation renewals are now available for spring 2026. Students must have a signed 2026-2027 contract before renewing.

Take advantage of FREE DIGITAL ACCESSIBILITY MODULES provided by Technology-enhanced Learning and Online Strategies (TLOS).
Outreach and Engagement
CLOSING SOON: The Buzz's Bunch Scholarship - Brent “Buzz” Williams, Virginia Tech Basketball Coach 2014-2019, established this scholarship for undergraduates in any field of study who are connected with SSD. Application closes January 22, 2026.
The SSD Newsletter is distributed monthly to students and faculty. This newsletter serves as a communication tool for our office to share important resources and updates.
